Who we are

Renovome is a UK home renovation planning platform operated by Renovome (contact: contact@renovome.co.uk). This policy covers how we use cookies and similar technologies on www.renovome.co.uk.

What we measure and why

We use two measurement services to understand how the site is used and how our marketing performs:

  • Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, rough location, device type) so we can improve the site.
  • Google Ads — measurement of advertising performance: whether someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to create a project brief or sign up. This is used to measure results and to optimise our advertising (ad measurement and ad optimisation).

The data recipient is Google. You can read Google's business privacy notice for how Google handles this data.

Cookies and your choice

Visitors in the UK, EU, Switzerland and Canada see a cookie banner before advertising cookies are allowed. Your choice is stored in your browser and applies until you change it:

  • Allow — advertising measurement cookies are enabled and your visits can be linked to our ads.
  • No thanks — advertising cookies are denied. Our ads still get basic, cookieless counts of ad clicks and impressions, but your visit is not linked to them.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookies button at the bottom-left of any page. Withdrawing consent stops future advertising measurement; it does not undo measurement already sent.

Project briefs and accounts

When you create a project brief or an account, we process the details you give us (such as your project description and email address) to provide the service — generating your plan, sending your report, and, for Pro members, running your profile. Advertising measurement does not include the content of your brief.

Retention and access

Analytics and advertising data are retained by Google under their standard retention settings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing contact@renovome.co.uk.
